This blog entry took me more than a year to write.

It all started on January 1st, 2017. My mother gives my brother and me calendars every year for Christmas. The most prevalent form of wall calendar is one featuring photos from Downtown Abbey or nature. In 2016, though, I asked my mother for a desk calendar with motivating quotes. That was my goal every morning when I woke up: to read a quote that would inspire and thrill me. I was pleased when I received my calendar. I read it and chose a few inspirational quotes to keep me going on dreary January mornings when it’s chilly and raining.

I looked forward to reading these quotes every morning. But I needed a secure location to keep them. As a result, I created a fantastic (at least fantastic to me) motivating quote board. And, yeah, it took me a year to finish it.

It’s a terrific idea to make an Inspirational Quote Board.

First and foremost, what is an inspirational quotation board? To demonstrate to you, I’ve included a photo of mine. Because I liked the idea of a vision board and wanted to express myself creatively, I created a quotation board. On the other hand, a vision board was not the ideal option for me.

I appreciate getting advice on how to create a vision and achieve your goals. One of the “hot suggestions” that success experts offer is creating a vision board. Vision boards are collections of images, photos, and other memories that are meant to motivate people to dream about their life objectives. Then you put the board up somewhere where people will see it every day.

In principle, it’s a terrific concept. Images and photographs, on the other hand, do not inspire me in the same way that words do. A picture of a writer does not encourage me to write in any manner. A writer’s words, on the other hand, carry force.

Words repeat themselves in my mind, sink in, and shape me into the person I am today.

So, rather than making a vision board, I opted to create an inspirational quotation board. I read the quotes I’ve written on my calendar every day. I kept the ones that I thought were particularly intriguing. I then mounted them on a white poster board.

This weekend, I’ll frame and hang the board with motivational phrases in my home office. I have a lot of quotes on my board, but I’ve chosen a few of my favourites to share with you for this article.

Conclusion

I got a touch of melancholy in my heart when I glued the last quote to my board. I wish there were more words to say.

I can’t stop myself from writing, reading, watching, and listening to words. I’ve kept a list and added quotes to it throughout my life. I memorise them and internalise them. (I spend a lot of time on Pinterest collecting quotes and saving them to my boards.) This modest inspirational message board, on the other hand, appears to be a work of art. To put it another way, it’s a work of art for someone who appreciates the written word.
